We try new things and fail all the time. It’s part of what has made us successful so far. We are a creative, fun-loving, and flexible group, and Deck Doctors is an environment filled with “choose your own adventure” moments.
We’re self-starters that give each other ample space and encouragement to fly. We don’t care about time spent, optics, or politics. Quality is king, so we work at times and in the ways that feel best for us. Getting your work done by lunchtime is totally cool.
We’re a remote-first team that believes deep work is a beautiful thing. (Relatively) minimal meetings, quiet Slack and flexible time off help everyone reach their own flow state. We collaborate often, but we do it with intention to not take away from individual focus.

Step 1 - Introductions 🤝
Informal introduction calls with a few of our team leads. We’ll use these calls to get to know each other 🙂. We’ll make sure to share a bit of historical context about Deck Doctors, how we got here, where we’re headed and *why. *****Depending on the role you’ll either meet with Mark, Alex, Kinzie, Gabriel, or Shif..
Step 2 - Case Challenge 👩🏼💻
We’ll provide a short challenge related to the work we do. This step is an opportunity for us to dive into a problem that is relevant to the role responsibilities 🛠. It’s a chance for you to display your expertise 👩🏼🍳, but also for us to share and provide more tactical context on our projects.
Step 3 - Freelance 👨🏻🏭
Freelance gives both you and us a chance to work together directly and get a better understanding of company and role fit 🧩. We want to make sure you’re 100% happy about working with us before moving to a contract or full-time 😊.
